The client of the Mississippi Avenue residence contacted us for a redesign of their outdoor areas at this newly-purchased home on L.A.’s westside.
The project takes the 1200 square foot rear yard and separates it in into three distinct “outdoor rooms” — one for entertaining (off of the kitchen and dining area) with a new deck and fire pit area, a second, for growing and gardening (with planter boxes and grape vine trellis), and a third area for laundry and other service tasks.
The yard is now usable in a variety of ways, which our clients tells us has been especially helpful through living, working and recreating at home during the current COVID crisis.
